There is next to no transparency with regards to paying off your student loans. I created this calculator to see how much your loan details will change based on different payment amounts.

Don't have extra money now but thing you will in the future? You can plan ahead to see how much interest you save and how much quicker you can pay off your loans. The goal is to pay them off as quickly as possible to minimize the interest you pay while not going broke in the meantime.
